Weaving From Threads to Textiles

Discover the art of weaving in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop. Participants will learn the fundamentals of loom weaving, including warping a loom, basic weave structures, and creative techniques for adding texture, colour, and pattern. Using a variety of yarns and fibres, you’ll experiment with traditional and contemporary approaches to create your own woven piece.

This workshop encourages both skill-building and creative exploration, making it suitable for beginners as well as those with some weaving experience. By the end of the session, each participant will leave with a finished or in-progress weaving and the confidence to continue exploring this timeless craft.
